Please consider including our organization in your estate plans. There are many options for individuals of all income levels to leave a lasting legacy to Volunteers of America Ohio River Valley. Many of the options are simple and take just a few minutes to complete the necessary paperwork. Here are a few simple ways you can leave a legacy and help sustain the future of Volunteers of America Ohio River Valley:

• Life Insurance.  A portion of your current life insurance policy can be allocated to Volunteers of America Ohio River Valley as the beneficiary.  All that you need to do is to change your policy to reflect the gift you would like to leave.

Another option is to purchase a new life insurance policy and name Volunteers of America Oho River Valley as the sole beneficiary. For pennies on the dollar each month, you can continue your support after you are no longer able to give.

• 401(k) Plan.  A 401(k) Plan allows for multiple beneficiaries. A percentage of the Plan can be used for charitable giving.  You can change the distribution of your 401(k) Plan at any time through your Plan’s Administrator.
• Last Will and Testament.  Leave a specific dollar amount or a percentage of the assets in your Will to Volunteers of America Ohio River Valley. The provision can be part of a new Will or added to your existing Will with a simple amendment called a Codicil.
